While investigating the Fort's grounds I heard alot of foot steps by the Monument and picked up alot of cold spots by the enterance of the site of the fort and also by the gates.

In the late 1990's I visited the fort and I think had a experience near the tunnel. The day my Ex and I were at the fort there was nothing going on save a few park crew working doing maintenance on the main gate. We asked the "crew" if we could walk around and they gave us the thumbs up. When we made it to the tunnel, we stumbled upon something. Out of no where to the right of the tunnel entrance was a man sitting on the ground, with a gun. He told us it was not safe for us to "go out there". I said ok, thinking he was someone that does reenactments. Well we made it back to the gate and told the work crew what transpired and they just looked at each other not saying a word to us.
